Valerie Stern
Valerie had a vision for the type of salon environment she wanted to create for herself and others, and thus The Strand Salon was beautifully curated. She was born and raised in La Crescenta and has been a working stylist for 18+ years. She is Vidal Sassoon trained, specializes in extensions, dimensional color and cutting. She loves providing custom color and looks for each of her clients that will catch anyone's eye while still being as low maintance as possible.

Jessica Cruz
Jessica is an LA native craft bartender turned craft hairstylist. She specializes in brunette balayage, lived-in blondes and hair extensions. With 7 years experience as a hairstylist and her background with Vidal Sassoon she is a well-rounded stylist. Her ultimate goal is to deliver beautiful custom results while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair. When sitting in her chair, you can expect to be nourished mind, body, and soul!

When it comes to hair cutting, she embraces her perfectionism, and loves the art of a precision cut.
